Cawdor Castle was built in 1370 at a time when clubs were in constant use in Scotland but not for sporting reasons. Things have subsequently been refined so that now people enjoy picking on small white balls rather than each other, and they have done so at Cawdor Castle Golf Course with much delight and occasional oath since 1976.

The course covers 25 acres of beautiful parkland. Its 1161 yards (par 32) offer a variety of challenges that will amuse the seasoned player and welcome the beginner. The course record is 27, set back in 2001.

Golf clubs are available for hire to both adults and children and there is a putting green adjacent to the course. A licensed cafe and snack bar are available at the castle for refreshments.

The course is open for play from 1st May until the first Sunday in October. Rounds may be started anytime between 10am and 5pm daily.

Season tickets can be purchased for 90 (adult) or 35 (junior 5-15yrs). Sets of clubs can be hired for 5 per person. Putting is 3.50 per person.
