Gairloch is set in an incredible position along the coastline, situated just above a long sandy beach. The golf course has spectacular views of the Minch and the islands of Skye, Harris and Lewis to the west, the mountains of Torridon to the south, and the wilderness of Letterewe to the east.

Gairloch Golf Club is 4 hours from the major city of Glasgow. Inverness is an hour and 20 minutes away and there is a direct bus which connects the town of Gairloch to the city of Inverness.

Gairloch is a 9 hole links course with a par of 63 and the length 4,533 yards. The course is set amongst rolling dunes provides a brilliant challenge to golfers of all abilities. It has a testing par for low handicappers but is still forgiving for the more casual golfer.

During the summer months it is recommended that players book their tee times in advance to avoid disappointment, but visitors are welcome throughout the year. Green fees for this course are very reasonable and are to be expected for a good quality, if remote, golf course. Day and week tickets are available. Clubs and trolleys can be rented from the club.

Gairloch's clubhouse has excellent facilities, including locker rooms and changing rooms for men and women. The clubhouse has a well-earned reputation for its catering which is available for golfers and non-golfers alike. The café is open seven days a week throughout the season and offers incredible panoramic views over the course, the beach and out across Loch Gairloch.

The club’s shop offers a range of essential golfing equipment and apparel as well as selling a variety of ice creams, soft drinks and snacks.

Gairloch’s practice area is mainly to support the club’s junior golf programme, but can be used for practice or warm up. The facilities include a putting green and chipping area, triple bay driving nets and practice bunker.

Visitors are welcome at any time, we have an "Honesty Box" if no staff are around to assist you when paying your fee. The Clubhouse opens from Easter to October with a Pro-shop and cafe. We would ask that you call us prior to golfing or check our website for Open Competitions .
