The Macdonald Spey Valley Championship Golf Course sits in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park next to the village of Aviemore. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 2006, this stunning heathland course is host to the European Challenge Tourís Scottish Hydro Challenge.

The course runs alongside the River Spey, through banks of heather, Scots Pine and silver birch, all the time offering breathtaking views of the nearby Cairngorm Mountains. The new clubhouse which opened in 2013 and offers a bar /restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms and outside terrace area. Practice facilities include driving range, short game area and putting green.

Spey Valley also has buggies, electric and pull trolleys, and the latest Taylor Made hire clubs available for hire.

Resident PGA Professional Murray Urquhart is available onsite to provide lessons for individuals and groups of all abilities.

In addition to catering for visitors Spey Valley has a growing membership with membership packages available to suit individual requirements.

Close to the golf course is the Macdonald Aviemore Resort which boasts 4 hotels, 19 woodland lodges, a leisure arena, cinema and 4 restaurants. Residential golf packages can be booked through the resort reservations team.

Tee times are available 7 days a week, there are no restrictions for visiting golfers.
